The magnificent Kohler & Frohling winery was built in 1890 at Second and Folsom Streets, San Francisco. The winery was three stories high, besides the basement filled with immense wine tanks. The building was a 400,000 gallon facility until it burned down after the 1906 San Francisco earthquake.
